About this Job

  • The Regional Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer will play a key role in leading business development efforts, maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Develop annual sales forecasts for new and strategic accounts as well as continually maintain and build upon sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Document Account analyses to determine customer needs.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Communicate and assist effectively within the organization to prepare information for client.
  • Travel expected to client sites and industry events.

Minimum job Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a BS/BA Degree in a relevant field.
  • 10 years of sales experience preferable in the plastics industry.
  • Strong understanding of plastic processing market, potential customer base and existing market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in the following: Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), CRM Software (ACT! used currently)
  • Travel Required – 30-50%.
